Tourist taxes in Belgium 2026
In Belgium the Brussels-Capital Region and individual cities such as Ghent and Bruges set their own tourist tax. Brussels charges per room per night; Ghent and Bruges per person aged 18 or over per night. Antwerp is not covered yet: the City's tax page does not open for automatic reading (HTTP 403). Bruges has announced a charge for cruise and coach day visitors from 2027 (VRT News, March 2025), but we have not found an official regulation on brugge.be, so we show no amount.

Not tax advice. Tourist taxes are set by local or national authorities and can change. They are usually collected by your hotel or host, who applies the official rules: check the final amount with your accommodation.
