Andalusia tourist licence 2026: VUT number, RTA and the rules

To let a home to tourists in Andalusia you must file an electronic declaración responsable, which puts the home on the Registro de Turismo de Andalucía (Decreto 28/2016, art. 9, and Ley 13/2011, art. 38, checked on 5 November 2026). Andalusian rules require the home's alphanumeric RTA code on the document given to every guest on arrival (Decreto 28/2016, art. 7.1), and tourism businesses must make their RTA registration details available to guests (Ley 13/2011, art. 26.1 b). The texts we read do not set a separate rule on adverts. 153,476 homes are on the register today (Junta de Andalucía open data, downloaded on 5 November 2026).

Not legal advice. This page summarises official texts and open data; it does not tell you whether a particular home can be let or keep its registration. Town halls set their own planning rules and communities of owners can restrict tourist use: before you buy, let or advertise, check with the regional tourism department and the Ayuntamiento, or ask a professional.
